I would like for Wavedashing and wall jumping to be implemented
there's currently a weird thing where the moves are done once the input on a controller ends rather than when it starts, which I don't know if that's a bug with controllers or not
Short hopping would be very much appreciated
Overall, lots of things that I personally would add to improve it, but I'm also a big Melee head, so maybe I'm in the minority and am asking for too much
Overall this mod is actually mind blowing and I really like the work you've done with it
There should be 4 points symmetrically placed throughout the map (in the background layer) that each spawn a random hazard out of a list (with a chance of selecting nothing), making each round just slightly different while not disrupting the gameplay too much.
Perhaps to start out trees can be added as hazards, if the tree is damaged enough it falls and damages anybody who is unfortunate enough to be in its path.
i'd also love to see walter added as a long range zoner, similar to the likes of villager, using his slingshot to keep opponents at bay while shooting them full of pellets to rack up percent. maybe make his down B woby coming out and helping find minerals to craft different pellets or providing an easy way to switch pellets effectively.
other, more general, suggestions would be taunts and other stages. platforms are the best part of platform fighters since it adds a verticallity that most traditional fighters lack. taunts are just fun. i'd also love to see the rest of the throws added. i'm not sure if it's my controller, but i can land an up throw with maxwell but can't for the life of me with wilson or wes. similarly, what does the hidden character's down B even do? also, i don't think he has a ftilt, i'm pretty sure the ftilt and dtilt are identical. some things feel sort of incomplete at the moment which isn't bad since the mod is only in beta, but i still want to mention it for the sake of mentioning it.
all in all i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this mod. it's so awesome to see DST completely overthauled and turned into a unique experience that feel very fluid and easy to play. it amazes me how well done it is and i eagerly await more progress. best wishes from me!
haha jk. but adding wortox with the soul hop mechanic might be pretty good
