Wes: Obviously the bes
Wilson: Very strong kit and saucy combos (also my main so biased)
Maxwell: High skill ceiling and pretty strong, but is combo food
Woodie: Not bad, just slow and hard to hit some attacks
Wickerbottom: A lot of end lag and not much combo potential, but decent edge guard
Secret character: Literally a joke
Wes is busted as it currently stands, he's falco but he can kill off the top with shine and up b as soon as like, 10%
Wilson is a really strong character with a solid neutral game
Maxwell is a character who's gonna have a high skill ceiling just due to his having 2 of him on screen, but staying on him as much as you can makes it hard to get the shadow maxwell out so that's fine
Woodie is a character who has a few solid moves, the fact that he has slightly more range than the rest of the cast is also something that gives him a little bit of an edge on everyone, but still not just a "I'm gonna box you out because my attacks are bigger than yours"
Wickerbottom is not a very good character since a lot of her kit revolves around her books which have a lot startup frames, and a lot of end lag on other ones of her normals, down tilt should be able to combo into up tilt btw she's definitely gonna feel incredibly strong to most players who: A don't know how to deal with projectiles, and B: people with less than stellar internet.
joke character is a joke character which is fine
Wes is the best right now with 0 to deaths and great neutral. Even after the nerf to his down special he can still 0 to death every character. As well as Dair just being such an amazing tool that most character can't deal with.
Wilson has amazing combos and kill potential with up b neutral b. Fair has no endlag and can do Fair Nair from a shorthop making blocking Fair not good and Fair just beats out so many options.
Maxwell needs time but he feels really strong and fun. You can also combo neutral special into shorthop neutral special.
Woodie has a problem of having terrible air options in a game revolving around aerials. He can get a few kills trying to catch people with side b after Fair but feels really bad due to how hard it can be to get people to stop jumping against him
Wicker. She's kinda just bad at stopping people from approaching in the air. If you haven't guessed the characters that can't stop people in the air I consider bad. Wicker's neutral special can be reacted airdodged and wicker gets punished for it. If I can do that in 300 ping you can do it. Wicker revolves around hoping everyone stays on the ground when the 2 best characters imo (Wes and Wilson) are in the air 24/7 with moves really hard to anti air.
Bonus Character. If all his moves didn't send the other person miles away to make everything not being able to combo as well as having terrible mobiltiy. It isn't the greatest combo.
