Can't find the mod through steams access of local files or searching it? I had the same problem. This risked me not trying out a potentially revolutionary mod. All that you have to is:
Enter your computer's documents and click on Klei ---> OxygenNotIncluded ---> mods ---> RanchingOverhaulConfig
To edit the file you just need to look up "json file editor" then either drag and drop the "RanchingOverhaulConfig" json file onto the file editor's dropbox or if they have none then just upload it through the "open" feature.
Then just download the updated version of the file and make sure it has the same name as the original. If the original is still there then delete it as it would be the one to operate instead of the the custom version.
All of this information was pretty well explained by the dev but for anyone else prone to brain farts, there ya go ;-)
Ranching overhaul causing problems regarding the i love slickster mod which has slickster morphs. The problem is that even though the i love slickster mod is turned off, all slickster still has a chance of laying a "Robot Oilfloater" egg which is the robot slickster morph of the i love slickster mod. I think the problem only happens if you had the i love slickster mod installed before and even though you uninstalled it, the chance still stays. Here is the error log of the said problem, which happens if a slickster lays an "Robot Oilfloater" egg.

Second:
having a weird problem, mostly just trying to figure out if this mod is responsible. I set a stable for dreckos, layout is the same as I've done for a long time, nothing runs, the grooming station says there's no critters in it. Doesn't seem to effect any other critters but dreckos and the glossy ones. This has only happened on my last two maps (fairly recent)
third: to Yasyou
I was messing with the config file for this the other day and I think I saw data for some mod critters that I have. I don't know how the mod actually works, but it may be producing material in the config when it reads those mods, which could then still be part of the config file after the other mode is removed. I'd try uninstalling this one and reinstalling it, see if that clears it up
