Map 4 is now live... let me know what you think!
It's in a rough state right now but is playable... will be the best map I've ever made i think when it's done.
Anyway enjoy the beta version for the time being!

Do you mean the new caves area? Aesthetically, it's a great addition to the map, and not that bad at all to actually go through! Could use a section where you could admire the falls before all the hordes start coming through, but that's just me.

I'm adding a survival map which uses the falls idea but is a unique survival layout... so there will be lots to see there! :)

Played the updated campaign. It was already good, and it's even better now. I think the addition of a fourth map made one issue that wasn't all that noticeable before stand out more now: Pathfinding problems with verticality.

There were multiple times (esp in levels 2 & 3) during which hordes, witches and at least one tank were trivialized because the environment confused the AI and made them take extra long pathways towards the survivors, and that's on top of sightlines being so long that you already get tons of free shots on them even if they take the optimal path.

I'm not sure there's much you can do to change that other than alter some of the spawn placements so that enemies spawn in higher ground, but also taking advantage of the verticality is part of this campaign's unique charm so I hesitate to call it a bug instead of a feature. Mixed feelings overall.

One thing I wanted to point out is that the helicopter in the beginning has the blades frozen in the middle of its animation cycle. NBD but it looks sloppy.

Lastly, because I know it's somewhat controversial, I'd say the infinite hordes event in map 3 is just right in difficulty, IMO. Mmmaaaybe add a spawn point for the hordes that is a few meters after the safehouse (a hole in the walls next to it for zombies to fall out from is fine), because zombies rushing out of safehouses is somewhat immersion breaking, but it's a minor quibble.

Great feedback. A friend of mine is working on an updated model of the helicopter with stationary rotors. The one there is the only model available in the game at the moment.

I'll check some of those pathing issues. I know what you mean and will see what I can do.

Oh wow, I didn't know the intact model only appeared mid-animation. I guess it would've been easier to place an already crashed helicopter then, but I'm glad it's been worked out nonetheless :)
