Hey, AFAIK, faction limits were lifted as well, now it's possible to have virtually unlimited factions in the map. (source: https://www.pcgamesn.com/total-war-rome-remastered/patch-final-2-0-4#:~:text=The%20hardcoded%20faction%20limit%20has,than%20one%20'super'%20faction.)

That being said, do you have any plans to make some new factions, such as a Illyrian Kingdom(s) (a region that is neglected)?

Also may I suggest a provincial system similar to ROME II, where only the capital for a province could fully develop? This way economic and militar, specially, development could be checked. The way it could be done would be trough hidden_resource, so only regions with, say, "capital" hidden resource can fully develop into a large city or a huge one.

Sure there will be much more to come - but implanting new factions is alot of work... so far i´ve only added 7 new factions in the public 0.08 version (Seleucid and Roman Rebels, Nuragic tribe rebellion - not playable, Massaesylie, Gaetuli, Mauri and Lusotani). The Next update with reworked Gaul will most likely see 5-7 new factions there. It´s a steady process and with every update i like to fill in new factions and ballance the map.

when i´m done reworking the map, i like to flash out the buildings. i want to give political buildings and assimilation a go to implant AOR´s and unique buildings, but nothing is fleshed out so far. RR is very thankfull as most limitations are lifted.

i´ve included illyrians and dalmations in the coming update. there regions will growth later on, as i didn´t rework there area at this moment.

i´m going to add all the unit from Danymok in the next release and alot of the units are covered. beside this, the bruti and sardinian swordsman + sicilian mountain axeman are very interesting. i will remind this when adding this :steamthumbsup:

don't know if this is possible, a raiding like mechanic where a portion or all of a settlements maritime trade income is given to the faction that is blockading it's port.

yeah, that´s possible via script and interesting to have as a mechanic. after all regions are set, this may be a task in the future. i´ve put it on my todo list

If possible, I would like to see Barbarian factions somehow be able to "civilize" and get access to buildings like sewers. In addition, if minor factions could have expanded rosters. I know these are a bit wacky.

I really love this mod and think it on par with Roma Surrectum! One thing that I would really like to see is the versatility in how you manage your settlements. Comparable to Roma Surrectum in having civic and military settlements. I think this adds a lot of replayability and fun to campaigns! Just a suggestion! I myself have made mods like this for my own usage and can contest that it really does add a lot to the gameplay!

So not sure if this has already been suggested but reducing the distance to capital penalty feel like with the amount of regions you can only ever get so large already having issues and only have 15 regions

its kind of intended, because i want a challange when expanding out of the faction-comfortzone. the idea behind this is, to build up barracks a.s.a.p to control the region with religious conversation garrsion and this way slowly bring the region to your cause. i want a situation where for example as seleucids it will be difficult to hold the east as a greek faction. it´s still possible to hold the east, but you need to micromanage the regions and it will take alot of time making them good subjects.
also try to kill off the slave armies roaming around. they cause alot of damage in the long run

That actually makes sense I do think if someone tried to recreate the roman empire there would be a lot of public order issues even if the settlement was fully built. Also some units are not on the campaign map but in custom battle (Paphlagonia can't recruit a lot of its roster and the admin building gives no units)
