'sound' is a built-in global library. My best guess is that you have another addon that is setting a global variable called sound to a number value, i.e.
sound = 10

Interesting that it's done as a global variable, what purpose does it pose? You could add a scuffed check for it, if sound is an int (i assume type conversion is the problem) then use a default value, or perhaps add a cast, it seems to work for me, but not my gf on her server (if she joins me it works), however I have all of her addons, not sure, only difference we have is I use chromium build and more addons than her

Also I'm really upset that we cannot customize keybinds nor add extra notes(I wrote an ahk script to convert keybinds for myself), but not having C6 on C Major is painstaking

Did you try being better?

You have an extra E miner chord which "could" be one problem, the other problem is that chords are not in "tonal" order making it tricky to navigate the notes on the keyboard.

Aside from that, its slightly better than the "reborn" piano mod in that it can be exited without needing to disconnect from the map.

What do you mean by an 'extra E min[o]r' chord?
And the chords are in order by fifth, the same layout that pretty much every real instrument with chord buttons uses, including optigans, accordions, autoharps, etc. This order is far easier to play than if the chords were ordered by seconds.

You can also just change the order of the chords yourself with 'Edit chords" and it will save your changes even if you close your game
