Please improve durability of clothing, it's impossible to play now. I had full heigh tier military gear, but zombie bite me once and made two holes in two pieces of clothing and also bite me. So, i think, it makes no sense how good your equipment is good, zombies still break it from one bite. I do not understand how sharp should be teeth and how strong the jaw should be to contact military clothes...

Yeah I noticed that to its the way the game is coded even though I raised the durability the cloths can still look damaged but the condition will still show sign of wear and tear I am unsure why

Is there a way to add durability to cloths parts? For example, if Z bytes you, he doesn't make a hole, but durability of cloths part will reduce from 100% to 50%.

Hey, are there any successes?

No the problem goes further than I like to address and not worth it in my opinion because the more I learn about it, the more I realize I would have to do its not something I particularity fond of committing to.

@Harek Hey i recommend a mod called no stunlock has the elf skidda daddle but he remides one of the many issues that make tanks not worth it in zomboid combine that with the increas in durability from my mod one step closer to true tankiness but this mod helps alot.

Can you give gasmasks some protection modifiers? It's kinda strange how safety glasses give you +65 scratch protection iirc but a full face gasmask gives no protection whatsoever

Well safety glasses are designed to have scratch resistant properties I could give them a very minor amout due to them being made of rubber +5 or so but no gas mask in this game seems to me to be the kind the can take a hit from any blunt or sharp object.

Better than no protection either way, the gas mask does look pretty chunky though with the large glass oculars and a hefty filter on it. So i'd assume that it could take a hit pretty well but only one, realisticly

Zomboid weight system is odd its combines both weight in size into one welding mask are roughly 1lbs - 5lbs on avg. They are very hard to store due to size. Which is why 1lbs+1.5 for size= 2.5 in base ring is 0.2 which if you have 10 now weigh 2 lbs that does not make sense alot of thing in zomboid weight system fall apart on both end but becuase i buffed welding helmets stats a bit I think I also made a bit heavier but unsure been too long.

I think they were going for a gram based system but it falls apart in alot of place when thing get too big or too small. Overall in an ideal scenario we set avg carry to 7lbs to equate for ~70lbs base game is 12lbs avg human carry weight. My other mod makes bag much more useful for the decrease in carry weight but reqires actual strength to go to crazy amounts. I have to balance realism vs fun in the end fun.
