Report a translation problem
1. I'm using yayo's combat (with the required warcasket patch) and the armor is very powerful. They seem to be able to shrug off most medium (and some large) caliber shots.
2. They are very cheap to create, and the armor doesn't have durability. Meaning that you don't need to spend time and resources on repairs/replacements
3. It's be best way to block pain without the use of a painstopper
But the issues that you mentioned are totally valid. So you probably shouldn't throw everybody into a warcasket for those reasons. But having a few of them as "special units" might be better than you think. It really depends on what other mods you're running. If you have much better power armor, then honestly just use that.
