Does anyone know what behavior or action triggers the Basilisco to nuke you? It seems to happen rarely and it always takes me by surprise when the session just ends abruptly. Is it because I'm out in the open too much?

Would hiding in an indestructible area on the map prevent me from being nuked and the session ended?
