In map editor it does not work
I tried with some assets from whose I know for sure that they were movable in play mode.
Now they're not selectable anymore, as needed for some specific assets like road signs whose texts can be edited by editing the asset's name.
Of course I tried both modes of the mod.

Now I will try to blacklist those affected road sign pack mods and see if that helps.

Blacklisting did not work.
So this issue has to do with the fact it's the map editor?

I can confirm that it's just because of the map editor mode.
Is there anything to do to avoid that the mod has/creates this issue in map editor only?

In another test I built a sign asset in map editor mode and then started a game with it. It does not work then. I have to build it in play mode.

You are right. Me too I noticed that. If I try to bypass all this ugly Vanilla map to start a new custom map, Construction Mover does not work or activate. It's a pity because you cannot work with it and also the other mods on the Workshp do not offer the same features. Too difficult or uncofortable to use.
Never played in Map Mode, but it works in Free Game with No Cost Mod and unlimited Terrain editing.

Not to mention you can just make your terrain map first, then edit the placeable assets in free game mode.
