Suggestions for future updates
how about for the train since its small and not very big what if it was slightly bigger like more parts to it and maybe a weapon carrier part or a way to make the train stop or go faster and more back parts where players can explore more of the train or maybe the train can be damaged or destroyed this is some of my ideas what do you think?

Adding more traincars would be a worthy update. Not sure how to make a destruction system, but I'll look into it and consider your ideas for the v2.
Thank you for your contribution.

Although, what kind of traincars should I add? And what kind of a weapon carrier are you talking about?

For v2, A cannon (or something else) by a neighboring train that blasts a cab of the main train would be cool.

what i am saying is that a part of the train would have a turret or weapon on the train cart a prop for show or where players can use it. or a supply area on the train were basically its a train cart with boxes and etc

and what if the train had more train carts to where the train is bigger and longer

an update I would suggest is that the overhanging train lights that fly over the train could kill you if they hit you.

I recently found out about a old gamemode, Elevator: Source. Basically random events every time elevator stops. Could something similar be done with train coming to a stop at a station?

The problem with this concept is that it's really easy and simple to execute when you use an enclosed elevator to mask the way the floors change. It's harder to imitate when you use a train map with opened surroundings and I'd have to build an entirely separate map just to give this concept a shot. But it's an interesting idea and I'd want to try it out some time.

Looking into this right now. The way func_tracktrains work in source engine made me think that they would kill you anyways, but seems like it's not the case.

I would like to see if something falls on the ground maybe it goes to the back of the map where you can't see it or it despawns
HungryBoi 20 FEB 2022 a las 17:29
if you can't it's fine because it is a great map better than most I have played in my 1,600 hours

It already works that way. The props are pushed back and then despawned after a while. If you're talking about NPCs, unfortunately the push doesn't affect clientside ragdolls after their death so you need to have "Keep corpses" on.

I'm imagining bridges with combine soldiers traversing over that the train would pass under. It would be more of a decorative change than a gameplay change unless you have the combine actively shoot at players as the train passes.
