I faced the same issue. When I click on the hotkey, the interface disappears for me, as if it were a screenshot mode.
UPD
X:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Terraria\tModLoader\ModConfigs
I deleted AnotherRpgMod_VisualConfig.json in ModConfigs directory and launched the game, after that the weapon UI began to display correctly.
I did not understand the reason for the error. Perhaps it is related to a keyboard shortcut, or to a summoner's weapon.
The only way I could fix it was due to an issue with the hud. I found that when I load in, every single time, my hud is slightly below my screen. It remembers I want it set to -50 offset in the settings, but still displays it as if it were around -100 and needs to be readjusted. If I opened the weapon leveling or armor leveling prior to changing the hud issue, it would be stuck on an empty screen until I completely restarted my game. This was not an issue when I opened character level or skill points menus however, so I really don't understand why it happened.
Hope this helps, may be too specific.
Really fell in love with this mod.
This is very strange, usually deleting configuration files will reset all settings. Have you remapped the keys after that?
I wish I could help, but I never really understood why the issue happened in the first place. My advice would be to mess around with resolution settings as well as the mod's overlay offset tools, and restart your game in between every change.
