Union of States features don't seem to appear in Planetary Diversity worlds

I'm a little behind on maintenance for my mods but I'll take a look into this.
First, love love this. Makes unification much more enjoyable. Second; 3.7 the 'Union of Nations' no longer works. There are no rival corporations to clear out, just the standard slums and other blockers.

Edit: I was browsing the files to see if I could spot anything obvious. Within the blockers file is 'prerequisite tech planetary unification', but I don't see that in my researched techs in a new game.

I’ll take a look - it’s possible 3.7 has changed up some things. Planetary unification was definitely a tech as recently as 3.6

I appreciate. I've been checking to see if it's a mod conflict, but I can't find anything unusual. I did eventually get Planetary Unification, but the new blockers for this origin never appear. Got a Slum, 2 Mountains, and that's it. No rival corps.

I've tested out a corporate start in 3.7 with Union of Nations and the blockers appear properly for me - they're called Independent States and they require the Planetary Unification tech to clear, which is an early society tech. I'm not sure why you wouldn't be seeing them - are you playing with any other mods?
Edit: Planetary Diversity is the culprit. It must have changed in 3.7, b/c it worked fine with Unification before.

The only big ones that might overlap; Planetary Diversity, Guilli's Planetary Modifiers & Features, Ethics & Civics Classic 3.7, Extra Events Continued 3.7. The odd thing is none of those are new to my mod list, they have all played nice until now.

Planetary Diversity changes up tile blockers so that makes sense- I’ll look into a compatibility match this weekend because it’s a popular mod and I’d like it to work together.

@True Guesser, Wand Bearer, etc. I've implemented a new test fix for Planetary Diversity, but one of the issues I'm having is replicating the blockers not appearing. I suspect its a version issue with Planetary Diversity. Would you be able to test out the Union of States start, just to confirm I've fixed it? If you start the game with PD and Union of States, and just let the game run a few days, the blockers should appear. Thanks for your assistance.
Sweet! Thank you for the updates, this is one of the few origins I enjoy with MegaCorp. Gave it a test with PD and all its' expansions, works for every configuration I tried. One thing to note; when choosing the unique & sub-planet types of PD like 'Tepid' or 'Bio Luminescence', the 4 unique blockers do not appear at game start, but do spawn after 2-3 days and require Planetary Unification tech. The update did not work on prior saves. Thank you again, looking forward to a new run with my dystopian Corp.

Thanks for testing that for me! Glad to know it’s working. I suspect that those two planet starts delete the blockers on spawn, so I restore them after a day if that happens. Sadly it can’t be fixed for older saves, but it should be fine going forward.
