Suggestion for a new feature, war effort investing
There is one thing that I would LOVE to see from this mod.. Warfare investing..
Goes like this:
Your colony is able to invest into other factions war efforts, be it by weapons, medical supplies or simple good old silver, which makes them more powerful in the face of certain death by other factions (for example, you could send a tribal faction some spacer level guns, so that they can obliterate that medieval factions that is punishing them for their lack of basic metallurgy understanding... (a variable for each faction would be initially given factoring both tech level and quantity of settlements.. This variable would increase if aided, decreased if attacked and lost, increased if they attack and win, then the variable would be used as a "power level")

Ties pretty well with your kind of empire mod, also ties pretty well with diplomacy and all that stuff..

In exchange for your contribution, you get a relationship boost (higher than normal cause you helped them at war but you also get a relationship penalty to the enemy) and if they do win, they become close allies, meaning that they will help you if you go to war (or are already in one, which would be almost always the case as there is permanently hostile factions) by sending you troops, some materials and more caravans..(or you can take their oil) The only thing they want in return is that you reciprocate if they are in trouble, there will be a new event called "Close ally needs help" which would ask you to send some help, again, be it material or in personal, to help them out if their war effort (with a minimum requirement of variable change).. If you do, everything keeps going as always, they keep helping you, if you do not, you lose your close ally relationship with them and may lose it with any other, as they see you as an untrustworthy partner...

Basically NATO on rimworld and you are the US...

It could also be integrated with other mods, for example, rimefeller or chemfuel expanded to get "grants of exploitation", giving a new type of event on the map, adjacent to your close allies, in which there are resources to be had.. You can go, camp there, get the resources and the ally will come to your defense if you are attacked in there, but you have to be the one to deal with the transport and if their pawns get downed (but not killed) you have to try and save them, any pawned that dies in your camp 10 hours after a raid would incur a relationship penalty
