How To Install :p2chell:

1. [Download Latest Version][drive.google.com]


2. extract classichud folder from archive to L4D2 directory
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2

if you need to update just delete the old folder and paste the new one.


3. open gameinfo.txt
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\gameinfo.txt


4. add classichud line to gameinfo.txt (make sure to put it over update)
... SearchPaths { Game classichud Game update Game left4dead2_dlc3 Game left4dead2_dlc2 Game left4dead2_dlc1 Game |gameinfo_path|. Game hl2 }
WARNING!
When you verify the integrity of game files, gameinfo.txt will be reverted to default. So you will need to make the changes again.

Also some community servers won't let you join due to changes in gameinfo.txt


5. launch game and open video settings


6. change display mode to opposite of what you using now, then change it back.


7. done!




How To Delete :witch:

1. delete classichud folder in L4D2 directory
...\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2


2. delete classichud line from gameinfo.txt
... SearchPaths { Game update Game left4dead2_dlc3 Game left4dead2_dlc2 Game left4dead2_dlc1 Game |gameinfo_path|. Game hl2 }


3. done!
