Pathing Lag, during shift change causing server to stall
Good morning.

First of all love this mod to death and has been a must have on my servers for a long time. Since Chapter 3 Rolled out, we have consistent lagging issues.

Before I get started, I am 20+ years developer, coder, and even have done some Modding in ARK. I just want you to know that per my troubleshooting approach.

Whenever shift changes occur, I am monitoring the log, and the activity within the server. Only 2 people logged into server during these tests. -- This error begins to stack for each NPC, that has an assigned Work.

Network:Warning: Data: PersistentHumanoidNPC_C_4
Network:Warning: Data: PersistentHumanoidNPC_C_3
etc,,

It only occurs during pathing issues Shift change where workers are heading to assignments, patrols, and also occurs when Golems are pathing or harvesting.

They also trigger the same error as above but with PersistentGolemNPC etc...

Once it starts the lag contnues and everything freezes until restart.

Hope this helps...

I have the same issue since the last game update and mod update. Before that my 10 workers nicely walked quite a long distance from their beds to the resource nodes.
Now I have only 8 workers. When I get close to my base and the mod's scripts start to take effect, I get the same log entries as written above.

While this is going on I am still able to move but the server and client get out of sync. Still, it's possible to go far enough away, logoff, log on and disable resource harvesting from the mod menu. That solves the issue without having to remove the mod.

I'll test if it's limited to resource gathering or if all activities involving pathing cause the same issue.

Tested patrolling. Same 5 waypoint route was used in all cases. One patrolling thrall was fine. Then I added more and the 4th one broke the game.

My thralls will not be alive until this issue gets fixed :(

I've tested in single player. No problems.
Switched to another map in g-portal, wiped all saves and tested. Issue appeared.
Removed all mods except this one. No issue!
So it's a case of two (or more) mods interfering with each other. Now I'll try to find wihch one(s) cause this.

The issue was in Devious Desires. Just tested and no pathing lag.
From their change log:
-Fixed: An issue that could cause thralls to 'lag out' when moving
