Defensive Protection Intervention Policy doesn't invite Player into War
I've been through several passed resolutions now of the Republic joining a war on the side of an attacked Republic member, yet each time the resolution passes the AI empires of the Republic join the war, yet as a human player I never do. I'll even get a notification that because my Federation member has joined the war that I am now also a party to the war - but once again, I am not at war. I have no ongoing war icon and the enemy empire is not hostile to me. If I inspect my Federation member's diplomacy screen I can see that they are at war, but even though I am in the same Federation I have not joined the defensive war.

Am I missing some button or choice somewhere that would have me properly join the war? The only other option I have is to declare a manual Counterattack war, but all that does is start a brand new war.

Thanks.

I have experienced the same issue in multiple wars and was about to report this as a bug. On their discord server, this exact issue is listed as fixed internally. I would guess that the developers will release this as soon as they can.
