Star Wars: Legacy of the Old Republic
The great crusade mechanic
So having played through the mando's about 3 times now, I think while I like the great crusade wargoal, to actually win you will avoid using it the more the game progresses into mid or late game.

Why?
You just get stuck in a forever war with the AI and his 10 vassals that spam small fleets that move past your defence grids. There is no fun way to defend against it. It really feels incredible tedious constantly having to micro manage that annoying 5th vassal that still needs to die while the republic comes knocking again for the 3rd time.

There is no way to make peace, even though they have exhausted their entire population twice over to fight you.

Winning a great crusade becomes very tedious because you will have to capture almost every little system. For a small or singular nation this is completely fine, but the later game has these huge alliance webs that form making it impossible to use.

I don't know how to fix this, maybe create some sort of peace option due to war exhaustion. Just wanted to give this feedback.
