Hawk-Eyes of Drakira (Waywatchers) -- extremely OP and bugged
Hallo,
While I like cheese, this is too much cheese. 300+ dmg with bleed and 1m explosion radius is too much. This Regiment does 500+ kills in any battle while normal Waywatchers (rank 9) get 70-80. Also, in my battles they only have a floating head, rest of them is missing. I tried to resub/clear cache etc. but nothing worked (without SFO they appear). Plx nerf and fix <3

I've not had the visual bug (probably because of "wood elves reborn" mod) but I can confirm they do insane DPS. Never before in my gameplay have I seen an entity of enemy infantry deleted from the field 100% to a man before they can even route and retreat out of range. I saw that happen a few times, doing a double take, and realized this RoR was the culprit.

300 dmg with explosion range is straight OP. i got even 1k kills a few battles ago. 1k...compared to 100 tops. any fix for the visual bug? :/

Was just looking at their stats and they have 3 times the ranged damage of the normal waywatchers, which is obscene. I just assumed it was an error.

Have you tried the RoR for stag knights yet? 4250 mass each and you can easily get them to 90% phys. Sisters on dragon is 4500 mass for reference. They can easily easily easily beat the Hawk-Eyes vs mass infantry. Don't have to worry about potential friendly fire as well. Thought WE accuracy would help but their archers do so much damage they're often the biggest threat to my own units. Had a waywatcher gank squad almost delete a spellsinger on her eagle because she was in the wrong spot and ate 100 arrows to the back.

Looks like they have reduced their ranged strnegth from 250 to 167 on the recent update.

dps doesn't mean much you can get 3000+ on volleyguns and its still the most niche artillery ever
this RoR don't have explosive damage so its probably some special gimmick with its projectiles
and pretty awful ap (matters even against armourless targets due to hawkish precision), you need to hit each of the 4 projectiles (which comes at range cost)
also also, even if there was explosive damage, 1m is so small you would only get benefits from a blobbed up mass entity small unit in melee

all in all this RoR is doing at least currently barely 15% more damage than a regular waywatcher against an armored foe and thats almost entirely from sheer number of projectiles with base damage and bleed
its designed to clear up lightly armoured targets and blobs (just make sure no shield block is present)

Sounds reasonable, I just found it confusing that normal waywatchers did about 100 kills while these guys did 700+. Ty for clearing it up!
