Gifts? Donations? Tips?
Because several have asked for a way to donate, here it is. First, though, some notes:

  1. Edited to add: I don't plan on doing any more development or modding.

  2. If you choose to give, please only give as a thank you for what I've already done, not with the expectation for future development or even maintenance. I want you to have good experiences with my mods, but I might not develop or maintain my mods indefinitely. RL might interfere, or I might choose to spend my time on other things.

  3. While gifts delight me, gifts are neither expected nor required.

  4. This mod relies a lot on CA's AI Planner code, on CA's support of the modding community, and on the modding community's support of each other (including community tools like RPFM). While I have spent a great deal of time on this mod, CA has done the hardest part of the work. This mod simply provides you with an interface to flexibly access CA's AI Planner during battles. I have not written and can't access or improve the code that the AI uses to make its decisions.

  5. I was not the author of the original AI General or Spectator Mode for WH1 or WH2. Hambango was, and he spent a great deal of time exploring and troubleshooting the initial versions. I've discussed this with Hambango and Decomposed. They have both said that they are happy for me to accept donations because I have also spent many, many hours updating, rewriting, and improving the mod for WH2, Troy, and WH3.

I struggled with the decision of whether to accept gifts from fans of my mods. The modding community is split on the issue and there are good arguments on both sides. Ultimately, though, I realized that I wouldn't even have any Total War games nor DLC if it weren't for generous gifts--first as holiday gifts from family members, and later thanks to fans. Since gifts can help me support CA by purchasing their products for myself and family members, and can be used to buy tasty food that I can eat while playing or modding, I've decided to stop worrying so much about it and to instead be grateful and delighted.

Please send me a message here on Steam or on Discord if you want your gift to go towards something specific.
