So I have experienced something odd. I think it is a bug, but I am not entirely sure.

So, one of my pilots ejected during a mission. Once the mission was done, I got a screen stating that my pilot was MIA. Alright, I thought, perhaps there is a way to search for them, but nothing in the contract menu nor starmap suggested that I could, so I left the system, thinking my pilot was basically lost.
A few ingame weeks later, another screen popped up, stating that we have found previously missing pilot at the port and she would now rejoin us. Great, I click the button and immediately another screen popped up, demanding ransom for said pilot, or they would execute her. Since it stated earlier that she just rejoined us, I rejected the ransom, which let to the message, that she was now dead.
I checked in the barracks, and while she was listed in there again, her status was "dead". I could not dismiss her, or change anything about her, and once I left the system, she was removed from the barracks.

While annoying, it is not game-breaking, so I don't know if it should be marked as a bug or not. I can list my list of mods, if it would help in troubleshooting, but again, if it isn't a bug, I won't bother, since it is rather long.
