Possible unique quirks and description for Commander Mason

+[Blood of the Father: +5 to offensive skills] Some say blood is thicker than water but yours is thicker than most, your old man had a lot of secrets but none could deny he had a fire in him that still keeps burning even after he's gone and he made sure you'd inherit that same fire, enough to keep your friends warm even in the darkest of times and burn every last enemy to ash.
+[Mother's Mercy: +5 to defensive skills] You never truly knew your mother but anyone who did could see she was the gentle hand and immovable object to your father's stoic demeanor and unstoppable force, and only a fool would deny that she passed that same kind heart and iron-clad will to her son.
+[Fahad's Fixin':+5 to defensive skills] The old coot might lecture you more than your pops ever could've but he certainly knows a thing or two, listen to it enough and anyone would quickly learn how to come back with little more than scratches on the paint, lest he lecture again.
+[Rayana's Resolve: +5 to offensive skills] She might not be blood family but Rayana's always been there for you and your father, a trusted confidant and close friend that always has your back no matter what fresh hell you all went through, and she sure as hell isn't losing another commander even if she has to kill the bastards herself.

alternatively
+[Father's Fire: +5 to offensive skills] to make it in-line with the others, or
+[Heart of the Mother: +5 to Defensive Skills] to match the two parent skill's names together, while still making them distinct from the other two.

or just have it so that the parent perks give +5 to two perks(energy and ballistic for dad, shielding and heat management for mom), and then Fahad and Rayana +5 to one(missiles for Rayana because dropship, and evasive for Fahad because never getting hit means he doesn't lecture at you). So that the stat total ends up as 90/90, less OP and still technically possible for other pilots to reach so long as you can get the best quirks(training for instance can help).

I'd like something like this. I was just coming here to see if there was any way to increase the skill caps for the commander since they've fallen way behind my specialized elites.

Same here. Max out at 10 while all your mates are at 14 or so. I want the COMMANDER to be the best in the lance. And id like him to be able to get quirks and penalties like the other pilots.

I agree; their stats at minimum should be comparable to a maxed out Elite. With stats capped at 10, the Commander becomes the weakest stat-wise in the lance after the others get a bit of experience and training.

I like the idea of the Commander having fixed quirks that are unique to just them. They should start with 10/10, and their stats increase with experience/rep, so that they end up closer to 18-20 in each stat at level 15.

Oh no, I also was shocked to see my team members now have more max skills than my commander! Is there no way of increasing the max on the commander? Maybe another mod?

Same issue, there has to be a way to improve him, or train him, or hell just give him normal quirks.

should it doesnt matter? as the skills only matter if ai pilote the mech and u play commandeer so the skills doesnt matter? how well u hit and how well u evande enemy fire is decided by your play skill not the pilot skill

only in the rare case u switch to another mech it matters until u switch back
