A Request of Mixu
Hey Mixu.

I'm not trying to demand anything from you Mixu, I just wanted to make a request from one modder to another.

And what I wanted to request of you is, if you can also do it, that whenever you transfer or port over your other Legendary Lord and Tabletop mods, if you could possibly rework some skills for the different lord types, mainly the yellow and red line skill trees, in order to make them feel a lot more unique between different types of lords.

Now, I think that this could be done in one of two main ways.

A. Reworking the entire red line skill trees in thematic ways for each lord type.

B. Just reworking the yellow line skill trees and those 4 "veteran" skills at the end of the red line skill tree.


I do think that it'd be great if you went all out with this sort of thing and went with option A, but I do think that option B would be the easier of the two.

But either way, that's what I want to request of you Mixu.

I would just really like to see the different lord types feel far more unique and interesting than they are now, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like it. Even if you just made it a sub mod.

Perhaps do it yourself and then send it to Mixu. I bet good quality, well-balanced contribution would be appreciated and get included.

Well, I'm not really that skilled when it comes to modding, and I'd really rather leave it in the hands of a much more capable modder than myself.

wondering if you would Change the Hochland Elctor Count from A melee to a range as the buffs you give him and the narrative that is described in his skills that you provided also the lore it self states that he is a renowned shot. was wondering if you could add a hochland long rifle to him pls mixu

Sounds like a fantastic time to learn and better your skills as a modder.

Playing Tyrion and the first minor settlement Thelstein (where the orcs are next to Lothern) shows 5 slots including main building (-: ........ am I crazy? bug? or can we except the most amazing slot mod in WH history???

The thing is people don't believe you to be genuine if you want to prove that your request is sincere perhaps, create a mock-up mod (A modder of any skill should be able to do this) of what you want. Then pitch the idea to Mixu and perhaps, he'll offer his advice and help to refine said mod. That way people won't accuse you of either being lazy or a troll like they currently are... Simply writing what you want isn't good enough you need to prove it.

Well, I don't mean to sound rude, but that coming from someone named FaithlessZealot feels incredibly ironic.

And only like one or two people have said anything remotely like that.


It's not simply about having someone else create the mod, but that the fact that someone like Mixu is FAR more experienced than I am, that's a simple fact, and I'd rather just see him include a few things into his mods that could add some nice flavor to the lord types as well.

For you see, I know how to change unit numbers and stats, and that's about it. I know nothing about creating models and such things. So it's kind of understandable that someone like me might just want to ask a modding veteran like Mixu to just add something like the weapon types as mounts thing into the mod he's already creating and has put into it before.

I mean, if he can't do it for the Doombulls anymore, then why not do it for the black orc warboss and big boss characters instead?

rofl... Any respect I had for you I've lost and I think you are insincere so good luck with whatever you're doing I guess... I struck a nerve and next time if you are going to be rude don't be a baby about it and qualify your statement just be honest.

You know what I find it funny you're too lazy to even draw up some conceptual plan document or anything that shows initiative to prove to Mixu you're genuine... You make it sound like you want to work with the guy but the truth is if you're just begging him to do what you want. But continue being stubborn.

You don't have the right to just try to dictate this or that to anyone.

At least I'm just being polite and asking Mixu if he could try to add a fairly small addition to his mod whenever he gets around to making it for WH3, while you're just being a complete jerk to say the least about it all and telling me to just up and do something I know nothing about.


I doubt you've ever made any mods before yourself.

You're just trying to sound like you know what you're talking about when you really don't.

At least I don't try to act like I know everything about modding and then make a bunch of glitchy and or buggy mod that doesn't work.


Though I do love how people like you are such hypocrites when they bring out the old "I struck a nerve" type of excuses to justify their BS.

If anything I'm the one who clearly struck a nerve on you.

And also, I just pointed out facts and didn't actually say anything rude to you, so do get over your own sense of self importance.
