Bug reports
You can report bugs in this thread or in the issue tracker[github.com].

All bug reports must provide a HugsLibs log. To obtain one, follow these steps:

1) Subscribe to Log Publisher from HugsLib in the Steam Workshop.
2) Inside of the game and after experiencing the issue, press Ctrl + F12. This will launch the log publisher.
3) Click on the "Upload" button.
4) Press on the "Copy" button to obtain the link to the log.
5) Paste the log link in your bug report.

If you do not have HugsLib, you can also use a RimWorld log. You can look how to obtain it in this link.

Trader ships turn up with 0 silver and no items to sell. Had this happen to a couple of ships now, with one or two working but most seem to be empty. I recently added both Trader Gen and the Customisable Silver mod. @Interplanetary Goat thank you for the bug report! That log gives me a good idea of what might be happening. This will be fixed in the next version of TraderGen, which should happen soon :)

Ah, no problem!
If a copy of my save or any other logs or such would help lemme know.

EDIT: So yeah, during testing it seems this only happens when you have Customisable Silver(your other mod) with it as well. Without the custom silver mod, traders seem to work fine, albeit with lower silver.

I have just pushed a new version of TraderGen to the Steam Workshop including a bugfix for the issue that you reported. Caravans and orbital traders should now work as expected when using TraderGen + Customizable Silver Stock along with the rest of your modlist. If you try it please let me know if it works for you.

That was quick! I had trouble getting steam to download the new version.

It seems to have fixed the original problem, but opened up others. Traders have silver and items again, but at a reduced amount. Between 1000 and 1500 silver, roughly. I changed the settings within custom silver all the way up to 450% but it still remained low.
Also some of the traders come with no specialisation or type. It states "They are a ." where it would usually be "They are a bulks good trader.". Every other trader ship seems to come like this, although they still contain silver and items so seem to function as normal traders. The "letter" seems to be the only thing broken, but this might be due to the fact I removed another mod or two, unsure.

Log, but it doesn't seem to contain anything useful.

I have a bunch of screenshots but unsure the best way to possibly share them.

EDIT: Added back in "Traders Have Money" which seemed to fix a lot of the 'letter' issue, but still got one or two that were seemingly blank.. However prices fluctuate wildly: Using the 450% from custom silver, most seemed to have around 800 silver, a couple had something like 17000 silver and a few in the 1000's.

I can't seem to get the logs to generate the "trader generation logs" from the option in TraderGen. I'm just spammed with that weird VFEMech propaganda error or something, which may simply be Rocketman simply trying to do it's clean up assets thing.

Thank you for looking into it! TraderGen patches the "they are a bulk goods trader" game message, so the issue you are experiencing looks like a mod conflict between TraderGen (and/or Customizable Silver Stock) and an unknown mod in your modlist. The only mods related to orbital traders I found in your modlist are Trader Ships and MiningCo. Spaceship. TraderGen has some compatibility patches to work along with Trader Ships and they still seem to be working fine on my end so it does not look like they were affected by the bugfix. The spaceships generated by MiningCo. Spaceship are also appearing fine (and it seems to be compatible with Customizable Silver Stock too). So unfortunately in order to fix this new issue I would need to know more about which mod is causing it.

If you would like to upload some images, you can use any image hosting service such as for example imgur. You can also create a new issue in the TraderGen issue tracker (https://gitlab.com/joseasoler/tradergen/-/issues) and attach your images there, but gitlab requires creating an account in order to do that.

With 290+ mods I'm probably pushing it a little hah. I'll start a thread in the issue tracker and upload what I've got/done so far.

There is definitely something buggy going on in that log, the "TraderGen cache is missing data for trader SpaceshipCargoPeriodicSupply -1 " is very likely caused by a TraderGen bug. With "becomes un-tradeable" do you mean that it is no longer possible to trade with the MingCo Periodic Supply ship?

You're so fast I couldn't even reply! Thanks for looking into/fixing it!

It had items in stock from what I could see, but(as i think you mentioned on GitLab) it was unwilling to trade these items. With the MiningCo. Supply ship, it only trades for like 8 or so items, without any deviation: Steel, Chemfuel, Plasteel etc. It seemed to have these in stock, but was unwilling to trade for anything.

@Mute Thank you for the report. I am sorry but it is not clear to me what the typo is. I believe that ordnance is the right word for artillery supplies. Could you clarify it more?

Ah, actually my mistake. I thought I recognized it as a typo but a googling (which I should have done) makes the difference between ordnance and ordinance clear. Sorry!
