I have decided to stop developing my RimWorld mods. They will stay up and should be stable for a while.

In case anyone is interested on continuing this mod, it is licensed under the MIT license. Please keep the credit section, extended accordingly with your own contributions. The project source code can be found in my GitHub profile.

If you find out which specific mod or mods cause the bug then I can implement a fix.

I suspect that the bug would also happens with vanilla slaver trader ships and is not related to TraderGen, though.

Then you might be need to check race mods compatibility? But those i have, is biotech only, so they're shouldn't cause any issues regarding pawns spawning in shops. While enhanhted beliefs affect pawn ticks and basically adds a new value that looks for pawn belief affilations. I also don't think that way better romance could cause such incompatibility, since it's just.. slightly affect behavior? However, it adds a few new traits into a game, and they generate on every single pawn.

@os I just tried with just VSE and TraderGen, and trade ships with the refugee specializations can spawn fine. I think the issue might be caused by one of the other mods shown in the error. The mods in question are Way Better Romance, Enhanced Beliefs, Revia Race and Charmweavers. It could also potentially be some other mod that is not showing up in the error log.

Two you might have interest in. Seems like VSE incompatibility? Not sure, though. Refugee ship is incapable of generating pawns, that's it. And because of that it has no silver, nor any other assortment.

This mod was causing problems for me when I tried to use it in a new run. Essentially, clicking the "Show What Will Buy" tab lagged the game and only resulted in one tab, Creatures, showing up after 200-300 log messages. I was using VE Trading, What's For Sale, and Dynamic Trade Interface, but it wasn't until I removed this mod (after everything else) that the vanilla menus showed up again.

Ever since Let's Trade went out for milk and never came back, I've had a hole in my heart. This mod gave me a box of chocolates and distracted me from my problems for at least a couple minutes. Genuinely essential.

Does the ideology precepts influencing trader stock include having ideoligions that disapprove of slavery from not sending slave traders? It always bugged me to have slavers turn up at my anti-slavery colony that come from an anti-slavery faction.

@Antearz: Yes, TraderGen will add items from multiple mods to to the stock of traders. In RimWorld, a trader willing to sell an item is also always willing to purchase the same item. Question:
Will this Mod Automaticly Generate Traders which Include Items from Mods in their Stock or Buy them ?

Reason I ask is because I like to use Traders to Sell Excess Stuff which I still want some off and thus dont just Blankedly want to throw it out to Rot or Destroy it.
But which often Builds up in Large Numbers due to being bought in by Raids etc.

I wonder if this Mod could help with this.

@Stubkan TraderGen should support all weapons and apparel from mods through the use of the vanilla trader trader tag systems. Why does that mod need extra support?

Regarding things that cannot be sold, TraderGen respects the wishes of the original mod authors and never tries to sell or purchase something that they did not allow.

Hello - could you support Rimsential weapon and armours? Also several vanilla expanded mods appear not to have items sellable - Ancients for example - when you raid their vaults you end up with alot of buildings that would be nice to sell off.

@art the debug ship has a spawning chance of zero. That is enough to prevent it from spawning in vanilla. I do not know how that mod handles ships that are not supposed to spawn but it is not something that can be fixed on TraderGen's side.

Seems that having this mod enabled with yours produces some interesting results.

They work very well combined together - that one just adds a fairly balanced way to request a trader (doesn't actually touch appearance and spawn logic, just adds an event and extra comms console functionality), but when TraderGen is on you can call a debug ship, and they seem to start spawning.

@art Thank you! The debug ship should never spawn unless you have some other mod that changes the appearance probability of orbital traders.
