Jobs are fine, but Bonuses from deposit - it's broken. 10% to pop-assemble sounds not that much, but max 5 deposit with:
+2 from pool job
+2 from super hive-mind
+3 from first bio-ascension path
Create a monster with +10.5. Meaning each year hive gain a pop. You also gonna have around +10-12 on growth. It even more broken if you combine with budding (what add +0.02 for each pop into assemble), and just on 50 pops you already have +12 assemble. That is not okay.
Little rework.
- Reduce cost for add minerals/energy/nanite on lava/toxic worlds from 500 to 350
- Reduce amount what that bonuses provide from 30 m/e + 2 nanite to 10 m/e + 2 nanite
But:
- Lava world gave +2 crystals (it will be more than sounds because of techs)
- Toxic world gave +2 gas
Also:
- Add on Barren / unhabitabilite worlds same disicion as up, but gave +5 energy +5 minerals (mean, both) +2 nanite and +2 moles
Do not touch frozen worlds , because they are chained with aquatic trait/perk/civics and might cause a bugs.
- Remove need in L-gate to build nanite fabricator - AI probably gonna own those systems and player cannot fight for them when you obtain that perk.
PS: added also mod flag 'has_uap_mod' and the AP availability options for AI.
1) Found L-gate
2) Research all 8 techs (or if you lucky - less with minor artifacts)
3) Own L-gate
4) Open L-gate
5) Research Nanite gates before you can lose owned L-gate
6) Only then research fabricator
Most of the time 4 of 6 steps can be a problem, because AI gonna lock you in your borders and you physically cannot reach any L-gates in galaxy.
Refix my old suggestion.
Make 3 research options to increase health / armor:
- For corvetts and starbasee
- For destroyers and cruisers
- For battleships and titans
For game-balance, bonuses must be deserved for patience or have a value to themself, similar to Nanite Composition when you need obtain first Nano drone-workers and 37500 nano-drones in stock.
- Add description about harvests on planets in perk, also change a little description about that in desicion
- Remork on later - change instead of guaranteed resources random values (like, energy and mineral have 50/50 chance be on lava / toxic / barren worlds, strategic resource have 33 / 33 / 34 chance to be mole / gas / crystal, and 100% +2 nanite)
- On later - Add nanite ship-sections for defence platforms and ion cannon
- Remove "-25% upgrade cost". Devs made it for vanilla techs because players use it for infinite alloys (now they cant)
Instead:
- Ship upkeep reduced by 20%
- Make "Trade gift" decay each year, because with enough treasure and time you can make friend from genocidial empire (which is not okay)
- Add options what allows to player convert all treasure resource into unity (1 treasure into 2 unity)
- Add max (5) auto-find random treasure deposit on empire, also reduce variations from 1-5 to 4 with 80% and 10 with 20%
- Reduce amount of building what produce treasure from 5 to 2, but increase output to x2 and crime from "-10 (flat)" to "-15 (flat)".
- Add upkeep for building - 5 energy
Rework desicion in menu (last one) and make it similar to all empires:
- Amenities from +50 (flat) to +20%
- Crime from -50 (flat) to -35 (flat)
- Remove +10 happines
- Rework upkeep for pops to -25% on all jobs (energy, food, minerals, etc.)
But i dont remember bonuses for gestalts, didnt take it often ^^'
- Rework cost of desicion from 50 energy 500 food to 600 energy
-Rework Upkeep of special building what mod provide from 8 energy 20 food to 25 energy
- Add desicion on Gas Giant to extract 5 or 15 energy and 2 or 4 gas (toxic worlds is pretty rare)
- Increase amount of energy production on starbase module from +3 engineering R-P to +15
Lets nerf it little bit. I cant take it on hive/machine because dont have needed mods (in current playset), but still.
That perk give for ecumenopolis buff, so:
- Reduce amount of districts from 150 to 50
- Reduce max buildings from 30 to 10
- Reduce corporation office from 30 to 10
- Reduce housing usage from -25% to -10%
- Reduce amenities usage from -25% to -10%
- Reduce happines from +25% to +10%
- Reduce pop growth speed from +50% to +25% (it's already ecum, new pops each 4 mounts, that insane, if you combine with genius pregnancy - each 1-2)
- Reduce storage capacity from +100000 to +40000
- Set max "Planet Features" what give bonuses on planet from infinite to 100, and increase cost for creating those from 850 minerals to 1000 minerals and 1000 energy
Perk is awesome, but it have issue - player Must own Cortana Perk to get every blockers. Player should feel fun with creation of bodyes and have profit, so lets make it more usefull:
- Created asteroids have 65% +20 minerals, 20% +10 energy and to have 15% +3 advanced resource (mole, gas or crystall, each around 33%);
- Created random bodies have 15% be with rare +2 resource (dark matter, zro or living metal. Player dont get any special stuff, just a resource). Created bodies always be 13 planet size, include habitable. Rework cost from 10000 energy to 5000 energy + 5000 minerals;
- Created bodyes with Gaia/Hive/Machine world perk always gonna be 20 planet size. It optimal number, also increase cost from 25000 energy to 15000 energy + 7500 minerals + 2500 alloys;
- Created habitats have planet feature (not deposit) wich add +20% resource output and -10% pop job upkeep, +4 max districts and +4 building slots. Feature works only with habitats, created by Celestial menu. Increase cost from 3000 alloys to 3000 alloys + 5000 energy.
Little rework
- Instead give a job which might increase pop growth (which is not) give +20% pop growth speed from building
- Increase amount of pops what planet decision give from 5 pops (7 for hive) to 9 (12 for hive), but increase cost to 1500 food (if possible, for ltihoids 1500 minerals instead)
Lets again nerf it.
- Reduce leader pool from 10 to 4 what provide EK;
- Increase tech weight x5 times ;
- Reduce bonus to XP from 150% to 100% by EK;
- Reduce leader max lvl from +3 to +2 by EK;
Unlimited expansion bonus:
- Reduce bonuses to pop growth from 200% to 75 %;
- Reduce bonus to pop assemble from 200% to 75%;
- Reduce bonus to robot assemble from 150% to 50%;
- Reduce colony deployment from 350% to 150%
- Increse housing usage from -15% to -10%
- Increase amenities usage from -20% to -15%
Unlimited building bonus:
- Remove ship decrease cost
- Remove ship upgrade bonus
- Reduce buildspeed from +75% to 50%
- Reduce megastructure bonus buildspeed from +200% to +125%
- Remove buildcost reduction
- Reduce planet dicision speed from +200% to +100%
- Reduce max districts from +20% to +5 (flat)
- Remove housing usage decrease (too many perks already give it to player)
On future - split bonus from planetary and space building
- Remove possibility to choose three bonuses. Even two is too much for "game-balance".
- Add modifier bonus +10 montly loyalty. Maybe then they will not be hostile because of Overlord DLC
Gas giants gave too much, as i notice... so lets nerf it little bit.
- Reduce to 75% +7 credits and 25% to only +1 gas
- Increase output of resource and science x2 (and upkeep)
- Increase output of nano-drones x3 (and upkeep)
- Add in tech with pop-growth Robot Assemble +15%
Rework feature with add resources on planets:
- Instead add those on planet player have option to convert whole unhabitable world
(not frozen, cracked, gas giant or destroyed) into Harvester Nanite World (correct me in first word) for 750 nanite and 100 influence which cannot be terraform and have +20 energy +20 minerals +4 strategic resource each and +10 nanite
- Set limit for those type planet to 15
Also:
- Fix terraform into nanite world from habitable what give to player nanites (+2)
- Reduce from 2160 days research project to 1440
- Remove from random research feature (by core itself) Mega-engineering... that dumb.
