Hi, I have been playing Augustus' campaign while using this compilation and the gorgeous Pompey emblem appears as vanilla. Other than said issue only emergent factions are still uncovered. Thanks

Hello Quin,

I will try to see, but in fact in my test it was correctly appearing on the faction.
Do you have another mod above on your mod list ?
If one mod is covering the same material and is upper on the list, it replace the symbol...maybe it is from there.

Yeah for the emergent, the amount of work is really big, I will try to do 5 by 5 as a step to update them according to the main factions and rebels ones !

I'm having an issue with the faction select screen. As you can see below, the cultures which use your symbols (Rome and Carthage) show vanilla faction symbols, while cultures that use vanilla icons (all others) show your faction symbols.

Sorry for linking to my profile. I can't seem to put screenshots directly in this post or I'm just not figuring out how to.

It's the same for every faction select screen except Wrath of Sparta (only vanilla icons). I have no other icon mods installed and I've tried moving your mod to both ends of the load order without any change. From what I can see, the icons all work correctly during gameplay in all campaigns except Wrath of Sparta where Athens, Sparta, Corinth, and Thebes still have their vanilla icons, from what I can see.

@Last Spartan :
Hello mate, not a bug at all. That is the way it was implemented by the developpers. Some path are directly related to "faction icon", for others it's about dedicate "culture icon".
I didn't work for the moment on those "Culture Icon", due to the fact that they appear "only" on the start screen of the campaign.

At the end, when I will finished the work on the Rebels/Emergent Factions (still 240 emblems to do...) + the Empire Divided Icons (still ~15 icons to do)... I will do the Culture Icon to complete my Emblem Compilation.

But thank you very much for your interest and your report :)

RotR: The script-appearing faction Hirpini (a Samnite tribe) uses the Hernici emblem.

Perhaps it is done so by you as placeholder or so. Anyways, that double-emblem is actually problematic for the gameplay (and the immersion). I personally have removed that, so Hirpini uses a different emblem (vanilla), which is ugly, but imo. necessary to have it differentiated from Hernici.

Hopefully, you can put it on the to-do list with high priority ;)

Edit

The name "Hirpini" derives from Hirpus (Oscan for "wolf"). Possibly inspiration for creating the emblem.

Fully noted mate thank you for the report. I made a little break but I will do it as soon as I finish the 25-30 symbols that needs to be done.
High priority indeed :D

GC: Celtic faction Vindelici uses the emblem of Celtic faction Insubres.

Edit

The double-usage is also the case in vanilla. Probably a kind of old bug. So when Vindelici gets a unique emblem with your mod, then it might be an actual bugfix.

P.S. Now i saw on your page that Vindelici has a unique emblem.

Thank you very much for the report. I think the bug could occure due to the fact that the emblems are called wrongly.
My mod for the moment change only the icon, no other elements where include. It makes it compatible with almost everything.

We can investigate (could not be that hard I think) to solve that issue.

False alarm! I fixed it with factions db file; there was the culprit (Insubres flag assigned). Now i have your proper Vindelici emblem :)

The reason for this wrong assignment is very probably that i use R2TR4 overhaul mod, which uses polbork's map changes (today i discovered, polbork added the Vindelici faction to the GC campaign/map to fill the according location gap).

With the last update Hirpini were included with a new symbol as you suggested .
Thank you for the idea again !
