FAQ

Q: The mod isn't working on dedicated servers!
A: Make sure CS is enabled on the dedicated server, the workshop page for Cs for Barotrauma has instructions on how to setup CS on dedicated servers.

Q: I'm getting level check-sum mismatches!
A: Every player in the server needs to have the mod installed + client side lua + the CS module for this mod to function correctly. If everyone for sure has it installed and setup correctly, check if the server you're playing on has the mod installed. If you're running on a dedicated server it requires extra setup steps, see above.

Q: I have client side lua installed and the mod still isn't loading!
A: Check console to see if there are any other client side lua mods throwing errors, if there are it prevents MLC from loading. Other than that try re-starting your game, sometimes CS mods don't load for clients and I have no idea why.

Q: Can this mod be added mid campaign?
A: This mod currently only affects level generation so it's safe to add mid-campaign! In the future I'm planning on experimenting with map changes so this may change.

Q: Is this mod compatible with x/y/z?
A: This mod uses it's own hook into level generation and is thus not affected by any other level gen editing mod. It also doesn't override any XML. This means it's compatible(?) with everything! Please let me know if there's any issues however.

KNOWN ISSUES

The mod does not work in mission mode and usage will result in all clients being kicked.

Abyssal Ruins are disabled in multiplayer

Joining mid-game when a distress beacon is active will kick you.
(This will be fixed in the next major update hopefully)
