A dream where your Diplomatic limitations such as Commercial Pacts can become available eventually, although they will have problems stabilizing trade value, It makes no sense why all these Xenos wish for these decorative Knicknacks, but if they will trade knicknacks we can turn to alloys for discarded egg shells because of the decorative reflective patterns found within, so be it.

A dream where Hives can get a Civic to allow the construction of Branch offices to sell goods to Xenos in exchange for energy, or research points.

A dream where a hive mind, with no purpose for trade goods, or need for Xenos, can build homes, and facilities where Xenos can pay to be looked after by drones in exchange for valuable energy credits.They apparently call these things 'Retreats' and enjoy the scenery of billions of drones performing their duties below. We Know they pay well for this privilage, we do not understand WHY.
Nor why they choose to migrate to our empire to work for us? But we will not complain, researchers outside the hive, though disruptive, often develop innovative solutions to problems we can refine to a finished product.
A way to turn consumer goods into extra energy credits would always go nicely.
