Base/parts of base disappearing?
Two weeks ago I started a new game. Finally have a "derelict station" fixed up. However when I return to within sight of it not it disappears? And if I exit/reload at that point it reappears . . . but with a big rectangular section cut away. Loading from an earlier save and going to the station gives the same issue. Not sire if it is related to the recent update or not but it kills this playthrough as the part that disappears includes my constructors, storage, and depressurizes my garden areas.
Anyone else run into this? Solutions?

I had same issue. Since last update the Deconstructor is not working anymore. Pls Fix. Cheers Don Juan

I totally agree with 09Klr650, see my earlier post. I really feel sorry, because I really like the scenario, but losing a lot of resources / ships etc, even on a scrap planet (MardOrntell) is no fun. We work hard for those :-(... As you can tell, I do not have a solution either....

Interesting. The part of the base that goes missing included a deconstructor. Think I will shelve this for a bit.

Sorry, I must have missed the comment. Just wanted to pass on the info here in case you were not subbed there anymore. I am not a regular of the forums for this game, and have no heard of any recent bugs that are similar to what you described here, no.

But as far as things disappearing, that has been a bug in this game for a while. I can't say it is the same, exact thing but it might be relevant or similar.

Per one of the responses the solution appears to be related to the game not reloading the fixed scenerio. Requiring an unsub/resub to "force" it. I saved my entire base by doing this and then opening a backup just before I left the planet to go to my orbital base. I assume it will work for anyone not within render distance.

For all of you who are having the Deconstructor issue making your base or CV disappear. First of all you will have a chunk missing after you "fix" this. I tested this on an old save with CV had a deconstructor. Before fix, I loaded and CV completely disappeared. Now it is missing a large chunk where the deconstructor was. Same for base.

To FIX... @cubesteak had it right (THANK YOU!!!). You need to unsubscribe from the scenario. Load EGS (without scenario). Close EGS. Then resubscribe to the scenario and it will download the latest files. I tried to verify local files in steam but that did not update the scenario for some reason (twice). Enjoy and happy rebuilding chunks of your base/CV "
