Also maybe reducing the standing fleet when the sectors leave and have admirals leave to make reclaiming the periphery harder. A massive hit to the central governments fleet speed or other things that reduce to zero over time could also help prevent an immediate regobbling of the secessionists.
One last thing I would like to see is maybe having a admiral/general trait that is gained upon a reuniting war. This could, if possible, allow for government change from democracy to dictatorship.
I love this mod. It allows my to roleplay an Aurelian 3rd century moment in space.
