Report a translation problem
Ill put the fatalis down as a maybe. I can get the creature but I need a 3d model for the armor and weapons.
I might be able to do long blades but since they are so long it might be difficult to implement unless I shorten them a bit
Feel like they would be really cool to see.
Namielle is a no (only because the models wings are too complex for this kind of thing) I
gobul is a maybe (I have the model but idk if have parts for the armor, or weapons ill check and see)
Same for yama Tsukami
no idea about the dragonator, but ceadeus model i do have, but i dont have weapon or armor screenshots
kinda so I used pictures from a site that had the old armors in a satic sideview, then I grafted parts of the armor to a diving suit.
I also did that for weapons to but outside of shields its not too hard to do.
Weapons:
Blades: Longswords, Greatswords, Lance (Doesn't have to be coded with special functions since we all know how modding is in Barotrauma, but why not if possible like charging)
Gunlance: Perhaps tiny, delayed explosions at the tip? Exploding stabs?
Ranged: Bows, Bowguns (Same functionality as harpoon for bows and guns as base for bowguns except they're able to use any type of ammo/mag I guess? Maybe a custom wyvern fire ammo item too.
Traps: I'm not sure how this can be coded, but MH isn't complete without these right? (Maybe throwing a shock trap in water for example gives it an area where it shocks monsters when they enter it, for a short period of time, turning them into a ragdoll like in vanilla depth charge.)

Monsters:
Plesioth: Can't have this mod without this one annoying hipcheck guy. Perhaps with its Green Plesioth subspecies, Lavasioth, and Jyuratodus as well. The mod currently has water beam / burst functionality too so that's perfect.
Cephadrome: Generic monster that fires water and rams your sub. Maybe with baby Cephalos with it too.
Mizutsune: With exploding bubbles that deal minimum damage?
Shogun/Daimyo: This is probably complex model-wise, but you can probably make it work like the vanilla Moloch except it fires water downwards from where it's pointing its shell.
Basarios: Chance of it appearing in mining quests, having the required materials for the quest on its back for the total bamboozle. (Maybe starts off as entity but spawns an actual Basarios, deleting the original entity when interacted with? Thus requiring you to take out the Basarios first before getting the required minerals)

Pets/Others:
Palico or Shakalaka Bots: They help around the sub like normal npcs. Like a Barotrauma bot reskin except restricted to some items. Can be bought as crew in stations.
Custom sub turrets: Turrets that fire ballista or ballista wires that keep the monster unable to leave the vicinity of your sub. Makes the monster vulnerable to gunfire.
Dragonator: If a dragonator turret is not possible, maybe a custom dragonator ammo for the vanilla railgun instead.
Palamute pet: ?

That's all I could think of. Probably too overwhelming so take it with a grain of salt. Take what you need, leave what you don't- or even leave everything in here altogether if they're not reasonable.
All suggestions were given in consideration to resource availability in sites like modelsresource.

weapons:
Im working on figuring out the way for spears to be more stabby then slashy once I do that, ill gladly make lanches more stabby. I've thought about bows but they wouldn't work underwater (though I might add them down the line if enough people want them). Longsowrds are maybe but id need to scale em down a bit
Ill work on a trap.
Monsters:
Plesioth and its subspecies are already in here, I decided against Cephadrome because plesioth is already here (again might add it if I can get armor and weapons, and if people ask)
Working on getting mitzunie armor and weapons
Shogun/Daimyo maybe but probably not (only because I don't know if they swim, and Im not sure how to implement them (Devs please add dry caves)
Basarios/Gravios are maybe, just need weapons and armor. I could just have their bodies have lots of random ores when killed
Pets/Others:
Any type of turret is a maybe. Once I get creatures and armors down I might be able to
Palico or Shakalaka Bots: Id love to do this, but sadly the devs have not allowed to make human reskins, I MIGHT be able to add them in as pets capable of repairing stuff (I think I saw a mod that added robots that could heal as well). I do have the models so I should be able to add them in.
All you said are my thoughts exactly. I'm SUPER glad we're thinking in the same wavelength. lol
Their ecology lore of Shogun Ceanataur says they walk and float on the volcanic bedrock so I'm sure they are capable of floating around just like the moloch. As for Daimyo, same can be the said except Daimyo can be found in colder regions.
It'll be hilarious to see a giant shell bonk your submarine down to the bottom lol.
I'll be brutally honest though, it'll be a lot more convenient for you and every fan of the mod if we just generally remove armors. I looked around the deeper corners of the internet and found absolutely no sources of most monster armors, BUT we do have every weapon's 3D model present. With armors removed, the mod will be less intrusive to gameplay progression, less clutter/bloat and less mod size, and of course generally less headaches for you and everybody LOL
I do understand though if armors are part of the creative intent, but still, do consider the suggestion sometime.
Not to mention the armors will surely conflict with a LOT of body mods too. It's an impending programming doom that's for sure.
and pets are fine too since it's exactly in the MH lore how they all start off as eggs (Mainly, lore of MH Stories)
Great job you're doing here really, I hope you don't get tired of modding until it's reasonably done. I root for this mod more than the others.

The monsters are going to be added in the next big update. Currently testing the palico. If it works ti will added in with the weapons update
