Bug / Balancing report (Heavy spoilers!)
Dear ryciebani666,
Let me just start by saying: I absolutely love this Mod! I think I have never fallen in love with a mod as much as I did here. It's just incredible how much content and flavour you have added to the game. And I have never been able to fulfill my power fantasy as much as with your mod :D

That being said, I want to contribute by reporting some (non-gamebreaking) bugs / balancing issues that you still might want to fix:
1) It's possible to have multiple mage towers by either building them all at once after getting multiple counties that have the empty building slot or by simply taking different counties with them already built.
2) Much more problematic: You can also upgrade multiple mage towers to level 2 by doing all the upgrades at once. I think I had like 15 level 2 mage towers in my latest run.
3) After researching the magic singularity MK2, I was suddenly able to start magic triangulation and search for artifacts again - but without getting any results. Probably because the game sees I have a missing Singularity MK1, but there is none available in the world.
4) The ring of death does not properly work as a magical artifact - meaning it is not obtained by imprisoning the owner.
5) It's rather easy to get to +100 opinion with all three special enemies you added (Bael with palace coup, the Archmage that wrote Necronomicon and the "Hellhound" that has the Ring of Death). Therefore it's even possible to befriend them. I had all of them as vassals / councilors for some time. However, they will still try to mess with you which is kinda weird but maybe on point? Personally, I would love to be able to make them my minions proper (either by Domination spell or by just making clear that they are outmatched).
6) Small issue: There is no proper way in game to understand that one has done all special magic research projects. I only understood this when consulting the cheat sheet you provided. It would be great to get a small message that no further special projects are available.
7) It's possible to do the unique mage legend as often as you want - though this is nice to do the magic research much more often, it's still weird.
8) It's possible to permanently get all the named demons except for Hecate as courtiers. Not sure if this is intended or not, but it's a bit funny to not really have anyone open for summoning except for Hecate and minor demons.
9) Talking about summoning: In a previous run I once summoned Asmodeus I think, telling me how pathetic I am... This time, maybe because I got the scepter of hell early, I never encountered him. If this is the case, it would be great to still have unexpected summons even when being able to summon by name.
10) I never got the god-emperor title / nickname - unsure how or if this is possible. I feel like I did all late-game stuff possible.

Thank you so much for the work you put into this! I would love to see further updates in the future, it's just so much fun to play this mod!

Hey, thanks for the appreciation and warm words ;) While I'm happy with the overall state of the mod, it does indeed have its problems, and in a few cases I had to find a compromise. Comments on technical or balance problems are welcome ;)

Ad 1. It's true, frankly I accepted such a situation - a cunning mage can have more than one tower ;)

Ad 2. Yes, that's right, this is already a worse situation. For now, I don't have an idea for it yet, but I have it in the back of my mind.

Ad 3. Good point, I missed that!

Ad 4. True, this ring is exotic (and frankly, not made for players ;) ). But indeed, for consistency, it should probably work according to the mechanics you're talking about.

Ad 5. Wow, I see that you have indeed exploited the mod to the limit ;) On the one hand, in general the player at some point has too good opinion with NPCs (due to his long reign) - in the sense that even your enemies like you too much, this is a problem I need to address. Probably the opinion with opponents you mentioned should also be lowered, but on the other hand.... after all, they can only pretend to like you :> Al-Hazred is crazy, so you can't expect consistency and constancy from him, and something similar can be said about demons - if they like you, it means that perhaps they won't torture you before they kill you... ;)

Ad 6. On the one hand, you are somewhat right. On the other - according to my vision, this mod should also contain some uncertainty and mystery. In terms of magic, there may always be something left to discover :> Well, I should probably do as you say, but also technically it would not be easy to organize, so I'll let it go for now.

Ad 7. Good to know, I need to do something about it :|

Ad 8. Yes, that's true, but it's an extreme case ;) I can say that even Hecate can be your courtier, at least in theory xd

Ad 9. Rather, since you have a scepter or are a proficient demonologist, it is precisely that there should be no unexpected summons. But Asmodeus should get a bigger role in the scenario. Well, maybe someday.

Ad 10. This nickname is random, if you have a tower on the second level and have no other magic nickname, then you have a (small) chance to draw it. Probably this mechanism could also be refined somehow.

5) Yeah, I really tried to get all the content possible. It's just so addicting... In my headcannon, it was just as you described - they only pretended to like me. I was just surprised that they could still plot against me even though I had a strong hook. I think normaly that makes murder plots impossible?

8) So when it's possible to even get Hecate as a courtier, I might have to continue my current run :D Is it by a random special event or a different way I did not think about yet?

Besides that: I would love to see future updates that focus even more on Asmodeus or maybe even Lucifer. And then maybe even the gods / Cthullu himself... After all, my archmage is getting ever more powerful and power hungry at the same time. They will always try to get more and more until they meet their master. And getting to awake Cthullu that eats half the worlds population, including his summoner, would be fun :D

Strong hooks block the possibility of plotting against you... but I guess you have to consider that the princes of hell and powerful ancient archmages are exceptions to the rule. Some beings are just too dangerous to keep them alive ;p

The truth is that when you die for some reason during the summoning (other than death due to the summoned demon), the demon remains in the material world. Of course, such an effect can be difficult to cause and comes at a price, but it happened to me once.

Asmodeus should have more to do, I like this character. As for the others, probably not, but you never know ;) The gods are so powerful that the game has no way to properly reflect their power. Well, and any character can die in a random event - I can ignore this in the case of a mage or a demon, but the death of a god while choking on a bone would be unacceptable :D

Your thoughts and observations are supportive enough :)

I'm not planning any major updates for now anyway.
Maybe someday I will add something else, but it will be smaller update than before.
Now I'm working on some minor modifications for the mage duel. I wonder if Al-Hazred will be a worthy opponent then.

But generally I'll have to take a break from coding for a few months, because I've been overdoing it a bit lately ;)
