Vanilla Psycasts Expanded
Preferred Path-Combinations
Heyo,

playing with the full VE-Suit right now and was wondering which of the path people usually combine, right now I'm running:
Chronopath
Staticlord (only Chaim Lightning via Psytrainer)
Warlord
On my Leader

Archon
Empath
On my Moral Guide

Archotechist
On the main crafter of the colony (small one, 5 only so far).

I was thinking to use Protector as third Path for the Guide, just because it seems fitting in terms of the theme of all 3 Paths she's using then and Protector seems to have some nice defensive and support synergies with Empath and Harmonist.

For the Crafter I will also be using Technomancer as 2. Path but I'm kind of clueless regarding what would open up some nice synergies with Archotechist and Technomancer

Was also thinking about giving Chain Lightning to all of then via Psytrainer because it's just hilariously funny to use it on 20 or 30 bumrushing enemy pawns

You see... I am the opposite. I don't combine casts. If I were to just pickup invisibility from protector and go down warlord every game, I would be unstoppable. Instead, I make dumb restrictions, like:

Buy every trainer I see, regardless of how much it screws me over sometimes.
Instead of a normal tree, I have crop burst, Invoke Berkana, decoy, time reversal, and word of love in a one pawn colony. An orbital trader took my prospect recruit three times >.>'

Roll D20: You get that tree next.
Genie is a warlord frostshaper. I guess.

The Storm is coming.
Only Staticlords. Yes, chain lightning IS hilarious.

Minmaxing a bit:
But warlord + invisibility with levels in upgrades is pretty unstoppable. Grab a secondary tree after you can defend your value, is my colonist policy.
Normally would do this by my second psycaster being a technomancer + warlord, giving a ring of craft psyring to first psycaster protector + warlord, and they make invisibility for everyone. Then a empath + warlord so drones don't break the colony.

At that point every colonist is an untargetable killing machine. Raids are a joke as they don't even try to shoot at you. It's funny to watch, though.
