It was not here in the 1.3 Rimworld.
So yeah using a Protector to regrow fingers and a Necromancer to resurrect people, we were able to resurrect forever.
That was nice. I abused this of course... But now (1.4) i... Don't really have troubles to keep my pawns alive... And when one dies, i just throw it in the fridge till the moment i find a resurrection serum.
About the "mood bonus" from resurrection... I asked myself the same thing... But then i realized... Well people don't really "know" they're dead... So they won't be particulary "happy" to live again.
It will be just like another morning... Minus the dreams.
The resurrection "alone" isn't enough for a mood bonus... But maybe paired with a alpha gene race like the Highmates variant... Something like:
"woa my half litteraly gave a part of his/her own life to save me back from death...."
The same thing with Techno psycasters not being allowed to make a ring that allows other paths to craft rings.
