Here are the different entries :
  • TXT_KEY_MOD_CANAL_NAME = Canal

  • TXT_KEY_MOD_CANAL_CIVILOPEDIA = An improvement built on flat land to connect two bodies of water or a body of water to a City Center. Canals may either go straight through the hex or bend by 60 degrees. However, three-way Canal junctures are not allowed.

  • TXT_KEY_MOD_CANAL_HELP = Allows water units and water Trade Routes to traverse this Land tile.

  • TXT_KEY_MOD_BUILD_CANAL = Construct a [LINK=IMPROVEMENT_CANAL]Canal[\LINK]

  • TXT_KEY_MOD_BUILD_CANAL_HELP = Allows water units and water Trade Routes to traverse this land tile.

TXT_KEY_MOD_CANAL_NAME = Канал

TXT_KEY_MOD_CANAL_CIVILOPEDIA = Улучшение которое строится на ровной клетке без холмов для соеденения двух водоемов или водоема с центром города. Каналы могут проходить напрямую через клетку или поворачивать на 60 градусов. Однако трехсторонние соединения каналов не допускаются.

TXT_KEY_MOD_CANAL_HELP = Позволяет морским юнитам и торговым путям пересекать эту клетку суши.

TXT_KEY_MOD_BUILD_CANAL = Построить [LINK=IMPROVEMENT_CANAL]Канал[\LINK]

TXT_KEY_MOD_BUILD_CANAL_HELP = Позволяет морским юнитам и торговым путям пересекать эту клетку суши.

I also noticed that when you put the cursor in the tile with canal if it is straight displayed the inscription "Canal_straight_0", and if it is rotated then "Canal_Bent_180" or some else number.

Hey, thanks for your help, I'll add this translation.

To answer your question, the different names you see are the different names of the improvements, you see, for each different cannal piece, it's a different improvement, for each angle, for each turn.

So to differentiate them and to avoid it being all called "canal", I gave them, it's name with their specificity.

I see. I'll try, but I think we can give them more familiar names, like "Canal with 60 degree rotation", "Straight canal" or something like that. I think this will fit more into the game than the system names.

By the way, I am a modder but for civilization 6, and I am very interested in how you were able to implement this mechanics without the need to build different channels with a turn in different directions ))

To understand well I advise you to use IGE and to place canal, to build canal with workers and to look at the canal.xml file, it contains full of interesting thing.

for the names I had already thought about it but there are a large number of different canal parts (you will see them all with IGE) so creating a unique translatable name for each part is boring but possible.
