(Bug) Wendigo reality tear problems

The Wendigo's reality tear ability is supposed to have iframes, but when you go through a projectile like the hive mind's rain in the calamity infernum mod, instead of not taking damage, you constantly take damage and immediately die. The reality tear even takes away your normal iframes from getting hit.
