Possible Ideas and Suggestions for future updates?
Looks incredible and feels very alive, honestly a super unique sub and truly a work of art. :D

I have a few ideas I would suggest maybe thinking about if you would hear me out after playing through part of a campaign with two friends of mine and bot AI partially filling up the rest of the crew.

-Would it be possibly to use an automatic doors system? For bigger sized subs this can be a nice feature if you can add it. Some of the doors appear to go up and down VERY slowly as well. Not sure what that is about. (Mainly the doors by the engines, and junction boxes, sometimes gunnery compartments as well)

-One more Diving Suit locker in the middle by where the other one is, 1 or 2 lockers by the back airlock for user friendliness, and then maybe add a locker in the medbay if possible as well? The back airlock needs some work as well. It feels very janky to use at times, like there is an issue with the button doors. I was thinking it would also be nice to have another air lock placed behind the command room as well at the top, to the left of the docking ladder?

-Perhaps more overall sub control features to the command room for Captain/Security Officer use. For example: The ability to control periscopes and CCTV like one would expect them too.
-Maybe a discharge coil or three for some of the blindspots on the sub, with buttons being on or near command nav terminal for captain use. Direct Front and Back are bad blindspots, as well as sometimes in the middle by the moonpool, and above the command room glass sometimes. These blindspots are especially noticeable when the ship is still lacking its two additional guns.

-Adjust the starting money balance options(Medium or High) for enough money to allow the captain to buy one ship gun for a single hardpoint at the start if they so choose? I found while starting a campaign with this sub with higher difficulty mods on that we like to use, it was a bit challenging at first guarding a sub this big with only two guns until we made enough money to get a third.

-There also feels like a slight lack of general storage for the crew to use near the middle of the ship(by the welcome sign, and then also the room between the reactor and the Gunnery compartment, and the space immediately to the right of gun periscopes as well feels empty, except for the oxygen fabricator/super-capacitors), the command room/behind command, and storage for direct use in the moonpool where majority of your crew would be bringing in loot & supplies from various diving expeditions. l also noticed a lack of an armory, and general storage chests for the captain.

Your description labels it as a military grade ship so thats why I thought of some of these ideas.

Lmk what you think about these ideas. I feel that one or several could be nice additions to it if you are able to do so or would consider it. I would add all these to the sub myself and make a prototype to try out, but I know nothing about modding the subs, so I would probably mess it up.

Okay lets see


1 AutoDoors - They are in mind, but i was afraid of using them cus its just twice more components, for sub this big its should be an overkill, but i can try.
Slow doors - Its a bit of a balance thing, cus having 2 doors next to each other is a bit strong, and it looks more cinematic i think.
2 Suits - Talking about back airlock, its more of an emergency exit rather than alltime use so no suits planned there, i will add a suit in medbay thats for sure.
Airlocks - Back airlock is vanilla assembly so it should be fine and talking about other exits, i think its just a bit too much, theres one at the back and one in the front-ish area.
3 there is camera system, it located right next to depthcharge launchers (click on monitor)
4 Sub should be a bit of a hardcore at this point, it has good top and bottom cover but poor front and back defence, a fair traid i think.
5 i dont think i can change starting money, its server option, no?
6 Storage is a bit of a pickle i can change some of them, but its either hitboxt problem or straight up low key OP, like i can replace 2 of secure lockers with large once, but it feels a bit of... wacky you know, will try something thats for sure.
Talking about label that its "Military" grade... well lore wise! It was... but fate was a bit grusome and half of "military" grade stuff was scrapped and sold, after all, you bought this thing from scrappers! :captainsinful:
