Bombers bugged?

As title said, tried using bombers vs Clan Angrund (MP, was given the bombers by ally who built them off Ally Recruitment), Bombers never dropped their bombs, just hovered over the Dwarfs, and rather than a bomb and get away....they just got shot....a lot.

Is there a known cause/fix?
