So next update would have random cameras with lights attached, if this do increases visibility then all cameras would have background lights
as I caught the bot's attention, the "vandalism" triggers the alarm.
I haven't shot anything, and it just sounded off, is this intentional?
Maybe you could have like a threshold before the timer starts for each building compartment
I might make some changes to that logic, for example some camera would only trigger alarm when it sees player in range
Threshold is a good idea, but I need to think about how to implement that
I haven't tested all 5 missions so difficulty could be ridiculously high considering number of cameras I've assembled
Also I made some cameras have a red background light effect, for better visibility. If you guys found that's helpful then I gonna make all indoor 'spherical' cameras (2x2 cube actually) have that light, outdoor cameras won't have this feature
I added a CCTV Control Unit in a room, you have two options:
- Spent some time hacking the unit and disable some cameras randomly
- Cut the power of the unit and therefore disable all cameras
But don't just go for second option directly, the unit have a power cut alert so if you leave it off for a certain period it would trigger alarmI might update the mod by this weekend with robot factory (Quliz Security) & Wooderland (Lee Chem.) with cctv assembled. If I have enough time, I could try finish the Marina as well.
All maps would be finished and ready to test by 2nd Nov. (Wednesday)
Neither versions of hubs or the tropical map WOULD have CCTV assembled
I would carryout a tiny vote about level difficulty today until 14th Nov. (Monday) on another discord server (you will be invited) details would be explained there.
And I've decided to change the publish date of this mod to either 18th or 19th Nov. (Friday or Saturday) As I'm certain that I won't have time on any Thursday until end of this year so if you have any issues/ideas/suggestions about this mod, do remember to tell me BEFORE 16th Nov. (Wednesday)
