ON CAPES - RE-CAPING GUIDE
So, someone the other day came up and slapped the bajeezus out of me because, apparently, they heard I was "talking **** about capes" and it really got me thinking as I watched the stars circle around my head like I was straight outta loony toons.

I mean, I don't like capes, but a lot of people do. So, maybe I should help those poor misguided souls.

So, I've written up this guide for those supehero fans out there who think the mod is neat, but don't want to lose their capes.

PRE-REQS
You will need a program that lets you open packfiles. I suggest using RPFM [github.com]

FOR KNIGHTS
Using RPFM, open up the packfile "HVKhorneEliteReskin.pack". The easiest way to do this is to go to "Open From Content" and select it from the list. Now go to variantmeshes -> variantmeshdefinitions (these are the VMDs I was referencing) and delete dae_kho_chaos_knight_base.variantmeshdefinition. That's it. You're done. Easy peasy.

FOR LORDS AND HEROES
These are a bit harder. If you get the cape back on the Exalted Hero it also means losing the other edits to the exalted hero (which is fine, just means they'll be vanilla). You do this by going to variantmeshes -> wh_variantmodels -> hu1c -> dae_exalted_hero_ and/or dae_lord and just delete almost everything there. For Lords, because the only thing changed is the cape removal, you can just delete them. If you are wanting to change it for heroes, it is slightly more complicated.

THIS SECTION IS NOT YET VALID - I AM REDOING HEROES. AFTER THEY ARE DONE THIS WILL ONCE AGAIN BE VALID.

Okay, now wait. Here's where I saved you a big headache. There's a version with capes already put back in here . You just have to take the "x_cape" versions and rename them to the file the VMD is looking for (example: dae_lord_khorne_body_01.rigid_model_v2)

I also do recommend, for anyone who enjoys mods in any capacity, that you have these vital tools and start exploring things yourself. There are a lot of guides around, and there are tons of helpful people out there willing to assist you in getting started. Being able to mod is really liberating. I'll get off my soapbox now.
