Squads spawning with same weapons
Whenever I create HC squads (be it mortars, machine gun, standard infantry) they all spawn with the same 9mm weapons. Am i missing something or is my game bugged?

The AI will select randomly from your unlocked weapons, provided they match the preferred weapon for their class.
(An example of this is medics preferring Carbines)

They can always select from the starter weapons, however, so even with a suitable rifle unlocked they may still pick a starter gun instead.

Hey man, thanks for the reply. I have made a lot of progress and I see them equipping a diverse range of weapons. Thanks for the help.
