The AI will take better weapon options when you have them unlocked provided it is a weapon that class prefers. Weapons are selected randomly with a weighting towards the better weapons, unlock more weapons to increase the chance of them taking them over the starter guns.

AT troops should use improved launchers assuming you have them unlocked, AA troops are to he added with the next update (no ETA)
