Extra settings to change how tech is unlocked
I'd like to be able to do the following:
- Disable theory research
- Disable prototyping (ideally, can only prototype anything I've reverse engineered and it gives 0 tech)
- Modify category totals to force reverse engineering
- Mark certain structures as to be ignored for construction experience (16 coloured lights and a power switch is just clutter)

Having some of these would obviously be a big gameplay change from how it is now, hence settings.

Just change the setting for regular research to 0 in the config for the first thing.

The setting bottoms out at 15% IIRC, and even if it went to 0% pawns would probably still go do it.

Will this include stuff like how much stuff breaks/percentage of how it breaks when you build prototypes?

That all sounds fantastic. Even better that the dev is planning on further expanding this mod. Personally, I'd love an additional step to research, Maybe like writing a schematic once you accumulate enough knowledge before proper research can begin. Or as another way to be able to research.
