I ran an observe game to 1936 just now and it was perfectly stable, the mod itself also has nothing in it that could crash the game.
More info: I started a wallachia --> romania game last night and ran it until 1867. Today, the save loads but then crashes immediately when unpaused.
There is nothing visibly wrong with the map or game while paused. The main menu has the (!) warning icon next to the save, saying "Missing Mods: -Historical (there's a square here which i think is normally used for unsupported text/ emoji characters) Light (Resources & Pop Growth)".
I.e. "Missing Mods: -Historical [] Light (Resources & Pop Growth)"
I have checked and confirmed I am loading it with the mod. I'm not sure why the name is different, but it is this mod. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Unfortunately, due to the significant changes I made today, old savegames won't be compatible.
This is something that is unavoidable, which is why I'm doing it during a time before a DLC comes out when presumably not many people are playing. Usually I would just wait for the update itself, but I won't have much time to update the mod when it comes out, so I'm preparing things already.
Is it possible for you to download a previous version of the mod in the changelogs to keep playing? That's the only thing I can think of.
Alternatively, I could revert the updates until 1.7 comes out. However, I did fix bugs that affect gameplay, so those would be in again...
I'm just going to revert the updates for now. It sucks that bugs that I fixed will be left in, but it's only for 2 more weeks anyway. And once the update comes out, old savegames will be broken anyway, so it'll be safe to make the changes.
You should be able to play now. I reverted to yesterday's version where German states were fixed. If that still crashes games, then I'll have to revert to an even older version.
And most funny: the ottoman empire owns the west coast (only the coast not any provinces) of mexico and america :D
but thanks for your effort <3
thanks
