I'm completely stuck because I'm only being given ammo for a gun I don't have
I'm on chapter "Dig Down" and completely out of ammo, but I keep getting ammo for the machine gun which I never found. I'm unable to check but I have to assume I have a couple hundred rounds for it, but I'm completely dry on pistol and shotgun ammo. I've been trying to get by off of grenades and the few shells I do get for the guns I have, but it is absolutely not enough to fight off all the enemies that are being thrown at me. Where the hell was it?

if memory serves me right the machine gun was by the fabricator in one of the boxes like how you get it in the base game right before the power transformers where you fight the electric dogs hope this helps mate

That sounds like around the spot I started finding ammo for it, that's frustrating. Guess I'll just start over from there, or maybe there's a cheat to just give it to me so I can continue from where I'm at.
