The mod was extremely fun until this point, but this section feels too much like something that was pulled straight from a classic FPS game, without any regard for VR. You have to whip your head around to deal with the enemies coming quickly from all directions (which is standard and fun in a usual FPS, but totally uncool in VR), as well as constantly move around to avoid the "deadly floor" (this much frantic movement, again, just doesn't feel good in VR).
Also, maybe I just suck and never properly learned how to use the "super gloves", but they seem to be extremely finicky (using Oculus Touch controllers): I still don't completely understand the "gesture" to "fire" them, and they never seem to fire in the direction I want them to fire. Throwing the "energy balls" behind your back also seems impossible (the Oculus doesn't track controllers behind your back).
The section with the super gloves in the original game had all the same issues with the controls, but it was paced slower, and had plenty of cover, which somewhat compensated for that. Here, it is just more frustrating than challenging.
I'll go try to beat this on "story mode" now :harold:
