Phenomenal add-on! One suggestion
@FMPONE, this was really an immensely impressive play-through, a miniature of the entire Alyx game but done by one person with original (and really good) level designs!

A couple sections could use minor polishing or more obvious indicators of how to proceed, but for me personally the big blocker was the lightning bolt versus manhack scene. It's not just that it's "challenging," it's not hard in a good or rewarding way. I have an index so turning around to find the manhacks gets me tangled in the headset cord. There are too many manhacks. Maybe both of those issues could be solved by having them come only from the far end of the room rather than from front and behind. There is also absolutely no reason to be playing "the floor is lava" at the same time. The scene would be fun and epic if the player were moving slowly forward, using up all the orbs to their left and right, shooting only enemies in front of them, working their way toward the far end of the room, with no lasers going crosswise.

<quote>shooting only enemies in front of them</quote> - you can throw energy balls behind you over your shoulder, btw. Did struggle quite a bit in this room but was able to finish it (hard) after a while.

Currently stuck on this part. Was having heaps of fun, got here in one play session, and suddenly the whole experience was ruined :(

The mod was extremely fun until this point, but this section feels too much like something that was pulled straight from a classic FPS game, without any regard for VR. You have to whip your head around to deal with the enemies coming quickly from all directions (which is standard and fun in a usual FPS, but totally uncool in VR), as well as constantly move around to avoid the "deadly floor" (this much frantic movement, again, just doesn't feel good in VR).

Also, maybe I just suck and never properly learned how to use the "super gloves", but they seem to be extremely finicky (using Oculus Touch controllers): I still don't completely understand the "gesture" to "fire" them, and they never seem to fire in the direction I want them to fire. Throwing the "energy balls" behind your back also seems impossible (the Oculus doesn't track controllers behind your back).

The section with the super gloves in the original game had all the same issues with the controls, but it was paced slower, and had plenty of cover, which somewhat compensated for that. Here, it is just more frustrating than challenging.

I'll go try to beat this on "story mode" now :harold:
