Could you add an input filter for the salting barrels? There are two problems this would solve:

1. Rakkle special meat is a drug that is made of meat and is a dependency for both the HAR and Biotech version of fhat race's mod. Unfortunately, the salting barrel considers it a valid target for consumption, destroying the drug, which takes more meat than it's worth to make, creating a lossy loop of meat destruction that is pretty impossible to automate a solution against.
2. Salting barrels "launder" human meat, twisted meat, and insect meat.
