Total War: WARHAMMER III

Godslayer Overhaul by Mortrau
Early game advice?
Heya, so the faction is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome, I love all they can potentially do, but I keep getting smashed in the earlyish phases with throgg, malus, sigvald then archaeon bearing down on me from all directions.

The snowball feels so slow to build, it's super hard to get the 1000 souls as well as the 530 khorne glory so you can make bloodletters. Is it just me or does it take an inordinate amount of time to get T2 units? I tend to build gold over growth because if you go for growth, what you can make outstrips your glory's ability to produce. E.g You can get the t3 exalted bloodletter building before you can even recruit bloodletters.

I usually advance east and take out the tzeench faction there, when I take some casualties the minor Norscan faction over the water and to the west declares war and comes with around 30 units or so. If i beat them back and counter attack, Sigvald gets line of sight on me and declares war, his vassals and allies follow suit. If Malus isn't having a bad time he'll pile on soon after, then throgg and the unstoppable march of archeon from the east will be close behind. Feels like everyone hates you and you can't scale up in time to meet all these challenges.

I'm by no means a really good player, but this is one of the hardest campaign starts I've ever had. Does anyone have any good strategies? People to befriend, places to migrate to? Idk.

1 - Consecrate your first city to Slaanesh. Slaanesh cities allow you to recruit Slaanesh maruders immiediately

2 - Recruit second lord. It will draw the enemy tzentch faction you start at war with close to you, afterwards you can set up an Ambush, and as far as I know they will always in some way fight you, meaning you can eliminate their entire army

3 - Sign Non-Aggresion pact with Epidemius. Doesn't matter whenever you want to ally, attack or ignore them, you have to secure your rear, Boris is far greater threat

And after you beat Boris, you are pretty much free to do what you want

Archaon can be a problem due to Daniel relationship penalty, but you should by now have enough breathing room to prepare yourself better
