Easy to follow, quicker, Setup Instructions:
1. Load the script into station PB and include [SAM ADVERTISE] in the block name of that PB.

2. Apply the [SAM Name=<name>] tag to connectors at your docking stations. There cannot be any spaces in the name after the equals symbol. Use dashes, periods, or underscores if you want spaces in the dock names.

3. Add SAM. (with the period) to the antenna's Custom Data.

NOTE: Doing the above 3 steps at all of your dock locations first is recommended but not necessary.


4. Add the script to the Ship's PB.

5. Add the [SAM] tag to the ship's
Remote Control,
Connector(s) you want the script to use
Cameras

Ship is expected to have an up, forward, and down camera.


6. Add the [SAM] tag to a 1x1 or wide LCD and the [SAM Log] tag to a Wide LCD on the ship. I personally don't use a 'log' screen unless I need it to chase errors.

7. Add These commands to the ship's toolbar:
next
prev
select
screen
stop
start
Check the documentation for more commands. 'toggle' can be used instead of both stop and start.


8. Add SAM. to the Antenna on the ship's Custom Data

9. Add a 1x1 LCD to the ship and name it [SAM] or place SAM. including the period in the LCD's custom data.

10. Optional: Add a wide screen LCD to the ship and name it [SAM-LOG] or place SAM.LOG including the period in that LCD's custom data.



SAMv2 should be working. Use the [SAM] LCD on the ship to create its flight plan between connectors. Press your 'screen' button to toggle between SAM's screens, your next and prev command buttons to navigate the options on each screen.
